With all our national league program's in action this weekend, all games where key in climbing the league standings in their respective competitions towards a better playoff berth.

First up on Saturday where our u16 women. With the girls national league program only in it's second season and it's first in division one, the girls have had a roller coaster of a campaign which culminated in them fighting to finish third this weekend at Grangemouth Sports Centre against the KFC (Knight's Fury Central ). The girls started slowly and trailed by double figures in the first half. However they picked it up in the second half playing much more to the level to which they are capable off eventually working up a 12 point lead which would see them take the win and secure their third place finish. The girls will go into the playoff's where they will most likely face off against Inverness City, targeting their first ever appearance in a national final.
Next up where our U16 men who would take on West Lothian Wolves at home in a fight to climb the rankings as we move into the playoffs. The boys started well ending the first quarter tied however a much more physical second quarter saw Wolves jump out to a double figure lead going into the halftime break. The boys played admirably in the second half pulling the lead back into single digits however it wasn't to be as wolves ran out 94-82 winners. The boys will most likely face wolves again in the first round of the playoffs and under different circumstances, the boys will be confident of considerably cutting that deficit.
Finally our u18 boys took to the floor against West Lothian Wolves at Easterhouse Sports Center. A tight first quarter saw Wolves match the junior men (who are currently on a 20 game winning streak across all competitions) play by play in what was a very slow start for the boys. Some stern words and re-focusing at the quarter break saw the Glasgow boys shoot out to a 20 point lead which Wolves would never recover from. All of the City boys saw great court time through out the game, ballooning the lead up to as many as 50, at points through out the fourth quarter. The junior men continue their busy schedule on the road in the Semi Final of the SLBA cup at Glasgow Rocks on Tuesday night as they look to continue their run into "march madness".
